UPDATE: Apache-Sitgreaves trails near Vernon possibly affected by Mud Springs prescribed burn starting Oct. 25

UPDATE: The burn did not take place on 10/25 and could be postponed a few days. The prescribed burn will cover 1,829 acres of National Forest land about three miles south of Vernon, AZ. Access and use of these trails may be affected.

The PSC23 will use these eight Phoenix trails on 11/4/23. They remain open to the public but expect trail traffic to be heavier than usual. Desert Vista and Piestewa Trailheads are closed to the public on event day.
