Ten Maricopa County Parks and recreational areas will move to longer operational hours starting May 1, 2024. Trails will be open to recreationists from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily through October 31.
These Valley parks will gain one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening:
- Adobe Dam Regional Park
- Buckeye Hills Regional Park
- Cave Creek Regional Park
- Estrella Mountain Regional Park
- Lake Pleasant Regional Park
- McDowell Mountain Regional Park
- San Tan Mountain Regional Park
- Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
- Usery Mountain Regional Park
- White Tank Mountain Regional Park
Hassayampa River Preserve’s hours will shift to Wednesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with trails close at 3:30 p.m. through the same dates.
Also, nature centers at Maricopa County parks will move to 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
