Maricopa County Parks and Recreation announced the temporary closure of part of the Maricopa Trail. Closure of Segment 2, located in the Salt River Pima – Maricopa Indian Community, is in effect due to Arizona Game and Fish’s Bald Eagle Protective Management program.
The closure is expected to remain until June 15, 2024. AZ Game & Fish has stated, however, that should the closure dates change, they will post it on the Granite Reef and Bush Highway kiosks.
