Estrella’s Rainbow Trail Access will be occupied with the Love 2 Run Trail race event on Saturday February, 10 from 7am to 11am.
The foot race’s start/finish line activities and crowds may affect non-participants’ trail use and day hike plans. While the park and trailhead area remain open to the public, Maricopa County Parks and Recreation asks recreationists to please consider the use of other trails and trailheads in the park that morning.
The events will mainly be on Rainbow Trail and Toothaker Trail with some use on the Coldwater Trail.
When sharing the trail, please be alert and step aside for runners from 7:00 to 11:00 that morning. Also note that the speed of racers as well as crowds in certain parts of the park could pose a challenge for your furry, four-legged hiking companion.
